Information Sent Directly
A name, phone number, or address entered into a search widget is sent to the third-party provider that supplies its results. Our own service is not the custodian of that search submission. If you contact us, we receive the details in your message and use them to answer or handle the request.
Routine Technical Logs
Hosting systems may record an IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. Those records help diagnose failures and measure broad page use. Basic analytics, cookies, or advertising measurement may also be used where the hosting setup provides them.
How the Information Is Used
Technical data is used to run the pages, find faults, understand general traffic, and improve the reference. We do not sell a visitor list or create a personal profile from ordinary visits.
External Destinations
Links lead to New London municipal offices, Connecticut portals, libraries, archives, courts, and third-party search tools. Once a link is opened, the destination's privacy policy controls what is submitted and retained. Sponsored results are supplied by an outside company.
Who May Receive It
Hosting, analytics, and advertising providers may process the limited technical information described above. A valid legal process may require disclosure. We do not otherwise distribute a visitor list.
Security and Retention
The pages use an encrypted connection where supported, and logs are retained only for operational or measurement needs. There are no user accounts here, so this service does not hold a password or resident profile for you.
Children
The reference is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. If a minor has sent information, use the Contact page to request review and deletion.
Your Choices and Rights
Connecticut's Data Privacy Act, Public Act 22-15, took effect July 1, 2023, and universal opt-out preference signals apply from January 1, 2025. Covered data may carry access, correction, deletion, portability, and opt-out rights, although the law excludes publicly available data in its definitions. A New London deed, court record, voter field, or assessor card remains controlled by its government custodian. For information held by this service, use the Contact page; we can search the mailbox and available logs. For a municipal or state record, contact the originating office.
